Our Programmes

Recycle Mobility

Our Recycle Mobility Programme is a unique idea that focuses on promoting access to upcycled, specially adapted trikes to children who cannot use conventional bicycles.

This initiative offers a fun way to exercise and offers inclusion & independence to children of all abilities. As the trikes are pre-loved, they are sustainable and environmentally friendly too!

Heart of Learning

Variety Ireland is passionate about helping children who require additional supports with learning. We recognise the essential duties that every Special Needs Assistant carries out on a daily basis, in helping children with learning difficulties.

By providing an iPad to every National School, we hope that we can help in some small way to make learning more accessible to even more children!

Sustainable Programmes

As a “charity with a conscience”, we have adopted a progressive sustainability policy in our efforts to better service the needs of children with mobility and educational needs in Ireland.

We actively source upcycled equipment when available and try to ensure it is then further upcycled. This way we are not only helping even more chidren, but also cutting our carbon footprint!

Disability Cycling Hub

Great Western Greenway, Co Mayo
Europe’s 1st Greenway DISABILITY CYCLING HUB

Variety Ireland’s 1st Designated Greenway Disability Cycling Hub for children was opened on the Great Western Greenway, Co Mayo on 12th October 2024.

How We Can Help

We help families, charities & communities all across Ireland

Here at Variety Ireland, we believe that no child should ever feel excluded or unequal to their peers. We aim to help those children who due to either mobility, or even financial problems may not get to enjoy as many different experiences as other children.

We help children aged from 0-18 years, from across the disability spectrum, from all across the 32 counties of Ireland!
