iPads Helping Educational Needs
We got this lovely message in from a mum of a 15 year old girl in Co. Cork, telling us how a simple thing like an iPad has had such a positive impact in their lives!
“We would like to say a very big thank you to all at Variety Ireland, The Community Foundation and everyone at RTE’s Comic Relief Fund for your hard work and dedication in supplying my daughter Soraya with her new iPad. It has made a huge difference in her life in terms of home schooling and addressing her on-line educational needs, as well as helping her own mental well-being.
Soraya, who has different underlining health conditions, is unable to attend school and was delighted to receive her own iPad which has made such a difference for home tuition and keeping her busy! A little bit of help goes a long way for so many and when you have many challenges ahead it just makes it seem a little brighter!!
