A Trike for Tadhg!
Together with the The Tadhg O’Fainin Foundation, Variety – the Children’s Charity of Ireland have been able to fund trikes for many children including this one for Tadhg
“Myself, Jonathan and Tadhg would like to thank everyone who helped raise money for Tadhg’s trike.
It’s an absolutely fantastic trike. He could only pedal a little bit on a slope at the beginning but now he can go quite a distance by himself and is pushing us away and saying “see ya”. He loves it and it is great therapy for him and enjoyable for us too watching him having fun. We are preparing Tadhg for SDR surgery in America and it is great to have the trike and it is a very important part of his therapy.
We had tried to adapt various trikes for Tadhg ourselves, strapping his legs to the pedals etc. but it makes it so much easier when you have the proper piece of equipment.
