A Liberty Swing for St. Michael’s House Baldoyle!
We are so grateful to the SQ Foundation and UPS for the joint funding for our wonderful new Liberty Swing.
Many of the pupils in our school have complex needs and physical disabilities. It is difficult if not impossible for them to access playground equipment like their peers so this swing enables them to experience the joy of sitting on a swing for the first time in their lives. The excitement and sheer happiness in response to the wonderful feeling of being on a swing is obvious from their laughter and smiles.
Thank you for enabling our pupils to have access to an inclusive playground in school and for bringing such joy into the lives of so many pupils.
