Tesco Temple Bar Help us Donate iPads to Local School

As part of our “Heart of Learning” Programme, Variety Ireland were delighted to team up with Tesco Temple Bar, who raised money in store to pay for iPads for nearby St Audoen’s National School, Dublin 8.

On hand to present the iPads on behalf of Tesco Temple Bar, was Store Manager Stephen who handed over the iPads to students Ziggy and Jude. Principal of St Audoen’s, Geoff Finan was on hand to thank Stephen and all the staff and shoppers at Tesco Temple Bar for donating money which now provides another source of learning for the children at St Audoen’s.
Principal Finan said” We would like to thank store Manager Stephen, his staff, and the shoppers at the store for raising money for these wonderful iPads. They will act as a great learning tool for the children”.
Store Manager of Tesco in Temple Bar Stephen added “We are delighted to be able to provide iPads for the students with learning difficulties in St Audoen’s. It’s great to see the transparency in the way money raised for Variety Ireland is being used. On behalf of all the staff at my store in Tesco Temple Bar , we wish all the students many happy years of learning!”
Students Ziggy and Jude commented that “these iPads will help students with learning and also music”.
Variety Ireland would like to thank Stephen from the Tesco in Temple Bar for looking after children with disabilities in their local community. A great job done!
