Emily’s Cycling Enjoyment in Louth

We at Variety Ireland recognise the importance that all children, regardless of their ability, should be able to experience the joys of cycling with their family and friends, just like Emily from Co Louth.

Thanks to our Recycle Mobility  Programme, supported by Minister Anne Rabbitte and The Department of Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth, Minister James Lawless and The Department of Transport, her new trike now allows Emily to take part in outdoor cycling activities with his family and friends. This not only benefits her own physical and mental well-being, but brings families closer and opens up so many windows of opportunities for them all.

We got delivery of Emily’s trike this week and want to say thank you so much to all at Variety Ireland, Minister Anne Rabbitte and her government colleague Minister James Lawless, for putting your superb Recycle Mobility Programme together in order to allow us to get a special mobility trike for Emily.

This trike is not only starting to benefit Emily’s ability to take part in outdoor recreational activities, but has brought great joy into her life where we have instantly seen an uplift in her personal well-being with smiles and laughter knowing we can now do things as a family.
