A Message From A Fundraiser!
We would love to give a big shout out to all the many incredible people all around the country who have run fundraisers on behalf of Variety Ireland!
We recently got a lovely message from one such person, who told us all about her fundraising experience with our charity…
“In the lead up to the Miss Donegal Finals, I selected Variety Ireland as my main charity platform.
There were many wonderful children’s charities to choose from but I selected Variety as they help children who are sick, disabled or disadvantaged in some form especially with educational support through providing technological
resources.
Education is something I am passionate about and I could not think of a better cause to fundraise for than providing technological resources- iPads to children to assist them in having the most successful futures possible.
In my efforts to fundraise for my chosen charity platform, I did a charity raffle – a beauty hamper giveaway – the most unique thing I could up with during our level 5 restrictions, raising a total of 211.00 euro’s. The hamper was inclusive of
Mac, Sosu, mini pink gin bottles and of course, skincare face masks My experience fundraising and working with Variety Ireland was fantastic – I had consistent support throughout my fundraising journey with social media posting’s and much offering of others supports too!
I am so delighted to have been able to support Variety Ireland in their mission to help improve children’s lives and futures all over the country. Fundraising is such a rewarding experience and my experience with Variety Ireland really opened me up to my philanthropic side.
It was a fantastic experience and I wish Variety Ireland continuous support in the future in helping to change and improve children’s lives all over Ireland!
