Many Volunteers choose Variety – the Children’s Charity of Ireland because they have a personal connection to our cause. Variety volunteers enjoy a flexible schedule, the good fellowship of like-minded people committed to raising funds to assist children and their families, and the opportunity to help build stronger communities. Above all, Variety volunteers have fun!
What do Volunteers do?
Once accepted as a volunteer with Variety – the Children’s Charity of Ireland, you will have the opportunity to be involved in the many special events that take place each year. While only a few events involve working directly the children, all of our events help to raise funds for Irish Children who have special needs. You can also choose to volunteer in our office, helping with out administrative work and special event preparation. All volunteers are scheduled for shifts on and “as needed” basis, often with daytime, evening weekday and weekend shift options. How much you help out is up to you, but it would be great to see you at a minimum of three to five events a year.
